Postpartum Doula Care
Getting ready for baby and giving birth is only half of the work that is to come. After baby arrives, the postpartum period can be overwhelming and exhausting. The support doesn't have to end at birth! Here is what you can expect with postpartum doula care:
- Light house cleaning
- Help with laundry
- Cook meals and/or prepare snacks
- Newborn care
- Encouraging rest for parents
- Running errands
- Breastfeeding Support
- Help you process through your struggles and birth experience
- Check in on your mental well-being
This service is charged at an hourly rate of:
$40/hour Day Time
$50/hour Night Time (Limited Availability)
Maternity Photography
- Two types of photo sessions to choose from:
- Mini session includes 20 minutes shoot time and 10 edited digital images with rights to print ($350)
- Full session includes an hour shoot time and 25-30 edited digital images with rights to print ($500)
- Sessions will be done outdoors
- Recommend scheduling between 30-36 weeks gestation
- If booking doula services, photo session is 20% off!!
Newborn Photography
- Recommend scheduling within first 10 days of life for best results
- Includes two hours shoot time and 25-30 edited digital images with rights to print
- Session performed at client's home where mom and baby are most comfortable
- Props and wraps included, encouraged to incorporate personal items as well
- May include other family members
- Investment: $600 (20% Discount for doula clients)

For being first time parents, Natalie made us feel extremely comfortable every step of the way. From planning my wife's labor and delivery to the being in the delivery room with us, she allowed us to be confident through the whole process. Couldn't say enough good things about working with her. Although birthing plans don't always stay the course , she truly does everything within her ability during labor and delivery to help stick to your goals and plan. I highly recommend Natalie and would call her in a heartbeat if we were to have another baby. This was our first birth so we had no idea what to expect. Just knew there would be tons of pain before meeting our precious baby!
She coached my husband and I through the whole process and helped make my daughter's birth a positive and calming experience that I was surprisingly able to handle unmedicated. When bouts of anxiety appeared or I was getting tired, she knew just how to keep me relaxed, focused, and then to laughing and pushing! We were so lucky to have such an experienced and supportive person as Natalie in the room with us.
The pictures she captured and the video montage she created will be forever treasured. We watch the video often and it brings on so many joyful emotions. In the moment, it was no doubt a rollercoaster of emotions during the labor process, but when reflecting back, all that I mostly recall is how much laughter was in the room and how the vibe was so positive and full of excitement. Natalie, my husband, and our nurse worked so well as a team. I could not have asked for a better birth experience and memories we have of the day we welcomed our precious daughter.

Gentlemen! This review is for all the husbands and boyfriends out there who are out of their element when it comes to these matters.
After having read books and taken multiple and extensive classes on childbirth, I expressed to my wife the need to hire a doula. We knew it would not be inexpensive, but we felt a competent and experienced doula’s presence in the labor room would be even more important than that of any relative or friend. Moreover, and to be honest, we were seeking a Christian doula because our friends had recently had a positive experience with one.
Initially, we contracted another kind and competent doula. However, just before our scheduled delivery date, she called us to inform us she and her children were quite under the weather! This lady swiftly put us in contact with Natalie of Womb to World as an alternate.
We met with our doctor in downtown Chicago on a Monday morning. Based on multiple factors the doctor advised us to go home, pack our bags, and report to the hospital that same afternoon for an induced delivery! Later that evening my wife began to experience contractions. We promptly requested Natalie’s assistance. Natalie did not hesitate to drive in from the far suburbs that very evening.
From the moment Natalie arrived she exhibited kindness, competence, endurance, and calmness. Her bedside manner was incredible. Her ability to tactfully and professionally communicate our needs and concerns to the nurses and doctors was wonderful. Due to her extensive experience as a nurse, Natalie was very comfortable reading my wife’s vitals on the many screens in the delivery room. Moreover, her guidance regarding anesthesia and the different treatment options available to my wife was invaluable.
Here’s the most impressive thing about our experience with Natalie. When we were informed our baby was facing the wrong direction, Natalie took it upon herself to massage, stretch, and turn my wife all night. Natalie did not take a break for herself and was as steadfast as a soldier in that room. Because of Natalie’s hard work and persistence our baby turned around in time for a relatively brief and uncomplicated delivery the next morning! That’s right, no C section and just 35 minutes of pushing!
All in all, it was very comforting knowing we had not only an experienced doula with 14 years of experience as a nurse, but one who shared our worldview. I would recommend Natalie any day!

If I could give more stars I would! Natalie has been our photographer since 2013 & we would never consider using anyone else! She has captured both maternity sets, our wedding & other family photos. She pays great attention to detail, is amazing with kids & making them smile when parents can’t, & is extremely reasonably priced! Photo turn around was quick too!! I haven’t used her as a doula but know some women that have & RAVE about those services offered! She is seriously just the best!!!
